Katsuhiko Kashiwazaki Sensei is a world-renowned judoka celebrated for his exceptional mastery of newaza (groundwork) and sutemi-waza (sacrifice throws). He gained international recognition for his seamless transitions from standing attacks into ground control, most notably his signature tomoe-nage flowing into holds such as yoko-shiho-gatame. His technical brilliance, teaching, and writings continue to inspire and influence judo practitioners across the globe.
