Born Again, Again

2020 was a year when the pandemic closed down the world. At first it felt like a way to slow down in life. It did, but at the same time, it closed down judo and many social interactions. During that period I contemplated retiring from judo and moving on. Obviously, God had other plans, and we ended up opening a new dojo. Here it is, Honolulu Judo Club!

Starting this judo club was like a rebirth spiritually, emotionally, and socially. Our club leadership has a new dream, new vision, and new motivation. There is a sense of excitement and momentum as we imagine doing things in a different way with a different emphasis. Personally, this will be where I place my energies during the next phase of my life. I hope that it will be transformation to those who are part of this movement.

With hope and faith, we step forward to a new phase in life.
